AFCEA is a professional association chartered in Washington D.C., as a patriotic, educationally oriented, non-profit technical society whose mission is:

• To promote industry-government cooperation in developing effective Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) capabilities, including the development, manufacture and operation of equipment and systems, and provision of services
• To foster strong Armed Forces and national C4I organizations
• To contribute to the professional development of those serving in the C4I fields
• To further the security and military preparedness of the United States and its allies

Middle Georgia Chapter

In support of the AFCEA International mission, the Middle Georgia Chapter shall:

• Implement the AFCEA mission throughout the Middle Georgia area
• Support the needs of the Middle Georgia membership
• Provide an effective local forum for information exchange between government, industry, and academia
• Provide scholarship and educational assistance designed to help and encourage outstanding and deserving students and teachers to further educational goals in the technical and scientific fields
• Provide educational opportunities to the local technology community
• Provide support to military personnel, of all branches, whenever possible and feasible
